Kid Combat is a series of books geared towards the young adult market (ages 8-14). It chronicles the tales of a young boy and a group of his friends that fight back against an evil man named Phillip Arthur Jones.

Currently the first book A Secret Lost is the only book that is published. The second book, The Heist of Spring Road Toys, is currently on the final rounds of editing and should be out at a later date. Volume III is just under way.

No. There are no bad words or depictions of violence in the Kid Combat series of books. It is all action based.

Kid Combat is geared for both boys and girls of all ages. There are many different personalities and character types in the KC world. For the girls, they have a strong female character named Samantha. Samantha is one of the leaders of the group and is a strong, independent female character with good morals and makes good decisions.

No. Kid Combat is an ordinary boy named Kyle Christensen. He enjoys playing baseball, video games, and hanging out with his friends. He has to go to school, do chores, and has a curfew. Since he acts out in secret with his friends, the media dubbed him “Kid Combat” to help identify him.

SOCKs is Kid Combat’s secret group of friends that helps him on his missions. SOCKs stands for “Secret Order of Clever Kids”. Currently, it comprises of 6 known members – Kid Combat, Samantha, Gears, Wedge, Rocket, and Roller.

In order to try and keep their identities a secret, the members of SOCKs use code names to talk to one another. The reasons behind their code names are chronicled in both the series of books and on the website.

He does in fact have name, its just nobody really knows it. Throughout Volume I, Jones only refers to him as “Two”. The reasons why Jones calls him Two is because to Jones, he is “second” in command.

How Kid Combat was able to build, finance, and maintain The Playground is a true mystery at this stage. Maybe in later volumes we will learn more about how it came about…

The letter Kid Combat was sent in to retrieve from Jones had detailed information on the identity of who Kid Combat is. Luckily, Kid Combat was able to get that information back before Jones was able to read through it thoroughly.

Sam is a little bit stubborn and feels she does not need a nickname. Most of the time, Samantha is behind the scenes at The Playground and not in the action. On the occasion when she is, or if the boys need to reference her, they call her “the girl”.
