Lincoln Elementary. One of the last safe havens for Kid Combat and his crew that is not owned by Jones.
It's funny to think that a school would be a safe haven for the kids, but within the walls of Lincoln Elementary, Kid Combat and his friends felt at ease. It was a place where they can forget about Jones and the troubles facing their town and just be a kid. They would learn with the other kids in town, eat lunch with them, and play with them on its playground.
When the kids were in school - the town seemed "normal" to them. They didnt have to think about how their parents have all but forgotten about them to pursue Jones's interests, or how another one of their parks were torn down as Jones builds another mall, bank, or car lot. And once they exited those halls, the decadence stared directly at them. Across the street on the north end of the school once laid Mulberry Woods- a small, but popular park in town. The kids would go there after school every once and awhile and play amoungst its vast trees or just hang out in the mini courtyard playing games. That was until Jones came.
Within a summer vacation, the kids would return to school and not be greeted by the forest. Instead, Mulberry Woods was turned into a parking lot for the new Jones Bank. The woods were all torn down except for one. Jones claims that tree was saved to serve as a beautiful centerpiece for the new bank. But, in reality, Jones kept that one tree there so the children of the town would see it and long for their park.
Lincoln Elementary, itself, has not been affected by Jones or the rise of corruption in Elmcrest. With no money being pumped in for education- there stands to be no profit- and hence, no interest by Jones in it.
There has been rumors that Kid Combat and SOCKs have secret rooms and tunnels within Lincoln Elementary that they use for meetings. But, none of this can be confirmed at this time.
