Of the original five members within SOCKs, Timmy was the last one anointed in. The quiet, timid boy is the fraternal twin of SOCKs member Connor - code named Wedge.
The younger of the two by minutes, Timmy has always been a bright kid, but lives in the shadow of his brother. Being more outspoken, Wedge took to the spotlight and Timmy cowered in the shadows. Although inherently smart, Timmy by nature always felt awkward and out of place. That was until he met Kyle Christensen.
The Anderson boys befriended Kyle when the boys were five years old. Assigned to the same class at Lincoln Elementary, the three boys, along with Gears, became quick friends. The pack of boys spent most days during their recess period out on the playground together.
Timmy, just like the rest of his family, loves electrical engineering. For generations in the Anderson family they studied and eventually made careers in this field. Timmy looks to be no exception to this rule. His brother on the other hand...
When Kyle started becoming Kid Combat and started recruiting his friends, the Anderson boys were a natural fit. Wedge for his can-do attitude and Timmy for his electrical background. Kid knew that he would need someone proficient in that field - especially when setting up surveillance or trying to "sneak" into a secure facility. He also knew Gears would need some help wiring up some of his gadgets.
Timmy was also the last one to get his nickname within SOCKs. While his brother's was an easy find, Timmy struggled mightily. While the other members - excluding his brother - never really teased him about not having a nickname, Timmy always felt left out without a moniker.
Timmy tried so hard to force a nickname on himself that some of his choices became the butt of jokes within SOCKs. None was worse than Flower. Wedge had a field day with that one.
During the rescue of Samantha, as chronicled in Volume 1: A Secret Lost, Timmy finally earned his nickname - Rocket.
During that time, he also became a more senior member of the SOCKs organization when they added a new recruit...
